Banned Books for Bowling!

Teens and pre-teens are invited to participate in the Lincoln Public Library District's Banned Books for Bowling program.  How? Between September 3 and November 30, 2013 read three banned books from the Library's selection list.  Submit the titles with a rating of each book on the form available in the Youth Services Department. Receive a coupon for a free bowling game at Logan Lanes.  For more information, visit the Youth Services Department in the Library Annex.

*Our annual Book a Bag used book sale runs during Art and Balloon Fest.
*We now have notification of requested books by text messaging.
*You can check out magazines to your reading device on-line.
*Grab and Go bundles are displayed on the Juvenile bookcases to help busy adults find themed books quickly.
*Banned Books for Bowling Program will run September 3 through November 30 for teens and pre-teens.
*We are having a Costume Swap in early October (for children only).
*Story Times and Art/Craft Classes will start in late September.
