Why Must we Register for Events at the Library?

One of the questions we are often asked is why registration is necessary to attend events at the Library, especially when they are free. The reasons are not always simple. Since we have a small staff, we need to be sure we have people here to help with the event. When planning an event, we need to determine which room will best suit the number of people attending. Of course, when we offer a craft, refreshments, or other materials such as prizes, we need to have some idea of how many to purchase. So, please do your part and give us a call at 732-5732.
