Read to an Animal Afternoon

On Wednesday, November 18 from 2 - 4 PM, the Humane Society and the Lincoln Public Library Youth Services will team up for an unusual and really cool event. Children ages 6 and up can read a story to an adoptable pet in the Library Annex Community Room. Children can practice their reading skills and the animals will get some loving attention! Children can bring their own stories or choose from books we have selected.

All the pets are adoptable. Reading time may be limited depending on the number of readers. Register by calling the Youth Services Department at 732-5732.
