New Computers

There are two new computers in the Youth Services department ready for use just in time for the Summer Reading Program.  The machines are pre-loaded with games (no more CDs in and out!)  Everything from Dora and Sesame Street to USA geography and make your own music.  They even have stories and movies that you can read or watch.  Age range is from preschool through 6th grade.  The computers are not attached to the web so there is no need for an Internet card on file.

The graphics are fantastic!  Each has a splitter so that an adult and child can work together with headphones like they did on our Teaching computer.  One program has a mouse tutorial to help little ones become comfortable with click/drag/drop.  Menus are so easy to navigate.  Programs and menus are audio supported.

Stop in soon to try out these incredible machines!
